Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 4, 2026

Your privacy matters. All-Tools is built around a simple principle: wherever possible, your files stay on your device. Read on for the full details.

Browser-Based Processing

All media conversions, compressions, and transformations on All-Tools run entirely inside your browser using WebAssembly (WASM). This means:

  • Your video, audio, and image files are never uploaded to our servers.
  • Processing happens locally on your device — data never leaves your machine.
  • The first time you use a media tool, the WASM engine (~30 MB) is downloaded and cached in your browser for instant subsequent uses.
  • Closing the tab or browser immediately clears all processed data from memory.

Tools covered include: Video Compressor, Video Format Converter, Video to GIF, Video to Audio, Trim Video, Merge Videos, Add Subtitles, Audio Format Converter, Compress Audio, and YouTube to MP3.

Server-Side Tools

A small number of tools (such as AI-powered features) require sending text or minimal data to our servers or third-party APIs to generate results. In every such case this is clearly indicated in the tool's interface. We do not store the content of these requests beyond the duration needed to return a response.

Cookies & Analytics

We use minimal, privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate usage patterns (e.g., which tools are popular). We do not use tracking cookies or build individual user profiles. Authentication cookies are used solely to keep you signed in when you choose to create an account.

Account Data

If you create an account, we store your email address and authentication credentials securely via Firebase Authentication. We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. You may delete your account at any time, which permanently removes your data from our systems.

Third-Party Services

All-Tools may load resources from the following trusted third parties:

  • unpkg.com — CDN for WebAssembly binaries (ffmpeg-core.wasm). Only the binary is fetched; no user data is sent.
  • Google Fonts — Loaded at page request time; subject to Google's privacy policy.
  • Google AdSense — May serve personalised or contextual ads depending on your region and consent settings.
  • Firebase (Google) — Used for authentication and Firestore database. Data is processed under Google's privacy framework.

This policy may be updated from time to time. Continued use of All-Tools after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
